Well, it started with research. Like, a LOT of research. We worked in our Atlanta based lab from the fall of 2023 to spring 2024 crafting our formula, and opted for Oasis to have 800 mg of salt. Why? Because you lose 800 mg of salt in just one hour of working out, so there’s not much point to any less. Of course, you don’t want it TOO salty because, well, that’s gross. That’s why 800 mg is the perfect ratio of “enough salt to work” but “not enough to taste bad.”

Finally, this stuff tastes good. We chose Allulose, a natural sweetener derived from figs, as the bulk of our natural sweetener profile. It tastes just like sugar, but it isn’t metabolized and therefore doesn’t convert to calories. So why doesn’t everyone use Allulose? Well, it ain’t cheap. But we eat that extra cost, not you, because you should be able to access a great electrolyte mix without paying a premium for it.
